About the tour
This tour offers a day trip departing from Medellín to El Peñol and Guatapé.
After enjoying a typical breakfast at a local restaurant, tourists will take a 45-minute boat tour of the former Peñol village reservoir, followed by a visit to the towering Peñol Rock. Climbing to the top of the rock is an optional activity for an additional fee of $20.000 pesos.
Next, tourists will have a typical tourist-style lunch in Guatapé and then take a leisurely stroll through the colorful streets of the town. The tour ends at around 4:30 pm, and tourists will be taken back to Medellín in a comfortable van or bus.
